Skirts, Skirts & More Skirts

I found this picture the other day and fell in love. So I went on a mission to find a skirt just like it...and I did (literally exactly the same)! This skirt makes me happy everytime I wear it, people love it and I feel femine and flirty in it. They are very much in fashion and are great for summer!

I found mine at Zara in Sandton and they had quite a few colours! All I need is the tan jacket now :)

Yellow...

I need Yellow. At the moment it's all I can think about when it comes to clothing. Yellow is warm, evokes light, is full of creativity, it symbolises wisdom and means joy and happiness. It has been proven that people who are blind to other colours can usually see yellow. All in all a pretty powerful colour...and it's in fashion.

End of Year...

On Thursday I will be attending our company's end of year function which makes the most popular conversation, with the girls in the office, being about what we are all going to wear. The theme is East meets West, as in Asia & USA Western (don't ask) or...dress as yourself, which doesn't make this easy.

I am tending towards the western look, however don't want to go OTT, so I will post some pics for inspiration and will go from there. This is the first one that I am lovin... Its from the dsquared2 2012 collection.

Sunday

It's a Sunday, and although weekends should be a pretty casual affair I can't help but want to look and feel great. My husband & I are going to look at houses to buy (because we growing up) and I need to look the part. The reason I say this is because I sometimes look quite young for my age (I got asked yesterday if I was still in school by a very kind but serious gentleman) and previously, when I have gone to look at showdays on my own, I have not been taken very seriously by some estate agents....so today I am dressing up (in a non-caring way)!
